About Me

Gentry Brentlinger is a dedicated student-athlete at Freeburg Community High School who thrives on competition, teamwork, and leadership. Playing football, basketball, and baseball—along with summer travel baseball—has taught him the value of clear communication and strong work ethic, especially through his role as football captain. Outside of athletics, Gentry possesses a business mindset and focused drive. He already owns his own business and works alongside a general contractor during the summer. He is deeply passionate about the construction industry and loves the hands-on process of bringing projects to life from the ground up. Looking ahead, Gentry plans to attend college to major in either construction management or business administration. He is eager to absorb every possible detail about the field, from mastering blueprints and cost estimation to managing complex job sites. Ultimately, Gentry aims to leverage his athletic leadership, field experience, and college education to build, own, and operate his very own successful construction company in the future.
