This Labor Day, we’re especially grateful for the people who make Silver Creek Area CEO possible.

Our students are learning that success isn’t just about having a great idea. It’s about showing up, working hard, taking risks, learning from mistakes, building relationships, and having people willing to share what they’ve learned along the way.

That’s where our local business owners and community leaders make such a difference. They open their doors, sit down with our students, answer questions, tell their stories, offer advice, make introductions, and sometimes simply remind a young person that they are capable of more than they realize.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of the four communities we represent: Freeburg, Lebanon, Mascoutah, and O’Fallon. From our investors who make this program possible, to our mentors who walk alongside our students, to the business owners and community leaders who open their doors and share their time, so many people choose to invest in the next generation.

Whether they’ve welcomed our students this year or have been part of the CEO journey along the way, these are the people who help our students see what’s possible. They give their time, share their experience, and let our students learn from the work they’ve poured into their own lives and businesses.

Today, we celebrate work. But we also celebrate the people who take the time to invest in the next generation of workers, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
