Our next graduate spotlight from Mascoutah High School is Alexus Zacheis.

Alexus plans to attend SWIC for a year to earn her Associate of Arts degree before transferring to Mizzou to major in finance and minor in business.

When reflecting on the CEO experience that impacted her most this year, Alexus shared how one site visit helped shape her future plans.

“The most impactful CEO experience I had this year was going to Clark Wealth Partners LLC for a site visit. We visited this site earlier in the year, and I still had not decided what I wanted to do after high school. After listening to Mike Clark’s presentation and asking numerous questions, I decided on finance.”

One of the most rewarding things for me this year was watching Alexus grow in confidence and public speaking. She truly stepped into herself throughout the year.

“One thing that I learned about myself was that I could do a lot more than I ever thought I could going into the program. I have always been an outgoing person, and I am very talkative, but I would always feel like I wasn’t good enough at anything I did. I would have never thought I could speak in front of hundreds of people and pitch an idea that I came up with all on my own. After Fish Tank Day, that all changed. I am 100% confident in the person I have become, especially with my presentation skills.”
