I’m feeling a little bit of mixed emotions lately.

Last Friday was our final day of CEO at Wisper Internet, and while graduation is right around the corner and the students are excited for what’s next… there’s also been a sadness quietly carried alongside it all.

Because this wasn’t just a class.

Over the past 9 months, these students built businesses, learned from hundreds of people, stepped outside of their comfort zones, and somewhere along the way… became a family.

On our final day together, I pulled out sealed letters they had written to their future selves on August 26, 2025—just one week into this journey.

One by one, they opened and read them silently to themselves.

Some laughed. Some sat quietly reflecting. And together, we talked about everything that has changed in those 256 days.

How they’ve grown more confident.
How acquaintances turned into friendships… and friendships into brotherhoods.
How they became a group that truly has each other’s backs.

Each student shared one or two things from their letter that stood out to them and reflected on how much they’ve grown since writing it.

Afterward, we each made snap jars—small jars filled with handwritten memories, encouragement, inside jokes, and moments from the year that they can take with them and look back on long after this chapter ends.

And of course we shared one final breakfast together in the classroom.

The students brought cereal and donuts because, somewhere along the way, those simple mornings became familiar. And we all needed a little familiar as we prepared to head our separate ways.

We also wore shirts representing our futures—many proudly dressed in their future university gear.

It was a reminder that while this chapter is ending… another one is just beginning.

And to end the day, we walked right back outside in front of that Wisper Internet sign—just like we did on day one of this journey.

But this time, it was different.

This time we took a fun picture. A celebration. A way to look at each other and say without hesitation…

We did it—TOGETHER!!

I’m going to miss this class.

They were the first students to make the vision of Silver Creek Area CEO more than just an idea.

They brought it to life.

And what a year it has been.
