Our 9th Act of Kindness comes from Brenton Hunter of O’Fallon High School, and it’s a beautiful example of quiet, intentional love.

Brenton is a quiet leader — thoughtful, disciplined, and deeply grounded. He leads without needing attention, showing his character through consistency, humility, and care for others. His dedication to excellence and service is evident in everything he does, but what stands out most is the way he values the people in his life.

That heart is exactly what shaped his act of kindness.

Brenton brought his grandma dinner and her favorite drink — a Coke. A simple gesture, but one filled with meaning. Because of her health, she isn’t able to cook for herself, and this moment was about more than a meal. It was about showing up. About presence. About reminding her that she is loved, remembered, and held close in his heart.

The joy on her face says everything.

This act of kindness didn’t need to be big or elaborate. It was steady, personal, and deeply sincere — the kind of kindness that strengthens family bonds and turns an ordinary day into something special.

We are proud of Brenton for showing us that leadership often looks like caring quietly for the people who matter most. ❤️
