Intentional Acts of Kindness – #5
Giving Back Where Love Began
This Intentional Act of Kindness comes from London Glen, a senior at O’Fallon Township High School.
London is thoughtful and reflective, with a heart for both creativity and community. She enjoys playing instruments like the guitar and piano and joined the CEO program to better understand business while finding meaningful ways to give back. Looking ahead, London plans to study finance and pursue a future as a financial consultant—but her values are already deeply rooted in service.
For her act of kindness, London chose something deeply personal. Right before the holidays, she gave her hardworking cousin and his wife something they rarely get—a break. Stepping in so they could rest, London spent time with their children, creating memories that will last far beyond the season.
London shared that her cousin and his wife were always there for her growing up, creating memories she still cherishes. Being able to now give their children those same kinds of moments meant more to her than she can put into words.
The photo captures it beautifully—a quiet moment, little hands held, Christmas lights glowing nearby. It’s a reminder that sometimes the greatest gift isn’t something wrapped, but presence, love, and showing up.
London’s act reminds us that kindness often comes full circle, returning to the people who helped shape who we are.
We are incredibly proud of London for giving back with intention, gratitude, and heart. ❤️
