Follow along as we share our students’ Intentional Acts of Kindness this holiday season!
Here’s #3 of 20—Macie’s quiet, thoughtful act reminds us that kindness doesn’t have to be loud to make a big impact.

Macie Dill, a senior at Freeburg High School, is someone who pours her heart into the things she loves. She’s active in many school clubs, teaches Sunday School at her church, writes, runs, trains horses, volunteers, and treasures time with her friends and family. Even with a busy schedule, Macie looks for ways to care for others.

Her act of kindness this holiday season was simple, intentional, and deeply meaningful. While Macie and her sister were dog-sitting for her great uncle during his vacation, Macie noticed an opportunity to make his return home a little brighter. She cleaned and organized his home, making sure everything was welcoming and cared for when he walked through the door.

Later today, he will return to a home that feels peaceful and loved—a quiet reminder that someone was thinking of him. With his sweet dog by her side, Macie’s act shows us that kindness often lives in the small, thoughtful gestures that ask for nothing in return.

❤️ We are so proud of Macie for showing that even behind-the-scenes acts of kindness carry warmth, joy, and lasting impact.
