Another full and meaningful day in CEO.
This morning was a true learning moment for our students. Some of our board members joined the classroom to hear their plans for the upcoming class business. While it didn’t go perfectly, the feedback was invaluable — it showed our students exactly where they have work to do and how much more they can refine. We are so grateful to our board members for their guidance as we navigate this journey. Watching the students take it in, reflect, and start thinking about next steps was inspiring.
Fast forward to this afternoon, our CEO students from Freeburg High School stood in front of their junior class to share about the incredible opportunity that awaits them through the CEO program — and they absolutely rocked it.
They spoke from the heart, telling stories about how CEO has already changed their perspectives and shaped their confidence. One student said it best:
“It’s hard for me to explain how great this is. It’s not like any other class. I wouldn’t call it just a business class — it’s so much more. It’s going to help you build skills not just for business, but for your life. You make so many connections and it forces you to step out of your comfort zone. Just trust me, you need to apply for CEO.”
I had another proud facilitator moment watching them today. They keep showing up (yes, early!), they keep learning, and they keep growing.
These are the moments that remind me why this program is so special — and why these students inspire me every single day.
Stay tuned — we’ll be announcing details about our class business soon!
