Ever driven down I-64 between Lebanon and O’Fallon and noticed that big LED billboard on the north side? That’s WinSupply—and behind that sign is a story of hard work, family, and community.
WinSupply, a pluming supply wholesaler began with a committment to serve contractors and homeowners with honesty and care. What started small has grown into a thriving business, known not just for what they sell, but for how they treat people—with respect, loyalty, and a personal touch that sets them apart.
This week our CEO class had the privilege of spending the morning with President John England. He welcomed us with doughnuts and juice, filled our minds with wisdom, and even gave us a few laughs (yes, some of our students got to climb inside a deer stand). And, in a funny twist, our students were in awe of the bidets on the showroom floor—who knew they could be so fascinated by plumbing?
What we’ll remember most is John himself. You can hear his passion in every story—from waking up at 3:30 a.m. to make the drive to work, to putting in long hours so his customers are cared for, to working nights at the restaurant his twin sons own. He treats his employees and customers like family, and it shows.
Even more inspiring? John’s heart to give back. Whether it’s supporting his team, investing in his community, or encouraging the next generation of leaders, he’s always looking for ways to make a difference.
Fun fact: John’s connection to CEO runs deep. Years ago, he hosted a Serbian exchange student in the Jefferson County CEO program. His own twin sons followed suit, starting their first business in CEO before launching a restaurant after college.
John left our students with two powerful truths: always invest in yourself, and build a relationship business.
A huge thank you to John and the WinSupply team for opening your doors to us, sharing your story, and contributing as a fiscal sponsor to Silver Creek Area CEO. You reminded us what true leadership looks like, and we are so grateful!
