We’re knee-deep in our first class business venture, and one big lesson has already stood out—team communication can make or break success.

Here’s what we’re learning about working together:

1. Don’t just set goals…set a plan to achieve them.

2. Some of us love to talk, others have great ideas but need space to share.

3. It’s important that we create a safe environment where everyone feels comfortable.

4. Don’t always be “on”—sometimes we just need quiet focus.

To put this into practice, we jumped into a rope challenge. Blindfolded and in 2 groups, we had to move from a circle into a square—while holding a 50 foot rope. Another curve ball thrown into this challenge—only certain teammates were allowed to speak. It took each team about 10 minutes, but we did it!!!

Then came the ultimate test: all of us, one 100-foot rope, and the task of forming a star ⭐️. Let’s just say the star was…creative. 😂 But the experience taught us more than a perfect shape ever could.

Teamwork isn’t easy, but it’s where the real growth happens.
